The town of Nice California is a beautiful lakeside community in the Northern California area. Well-known for the plethora of natural beauty and fantastic wine-making, the town of Nice is perched right on the top of the largest, surface-area, freshwater lake in California. This is a big draw for the town of Nice and is one of the main reasons that the entire area was settled in the first place. The enjoyment that can be had from visiting the town of Nice is unbelievable.

From fabulous outdoor activities such as; boating, fishing, hiking, water-sports, and many more, the plethora of adventures awaits those that travel to this great town. The entire area of Nice California is a virtual wine-lovers paradise with world-class vineyards and too many wine making companies to mention here. Some of the more acknowledged ones include Ciago (formerly Fetzer) and Wildhurst Vineyards. Tastings are a popular event in Nice and there are always a few that can be visited to taste some of the best wines in the world. If wine is not on the agenda this is not an issue as a visitor to Nice will find the outdoors to be just as satisfying and calming. Mount Konocti is really just a stones throw away and is a great archeological site as well as an active volcano! Hiking up and around the active yet dormant (hopefully) volcano is one of the favorite activities for area outdoorsmen.
